China’s average daily crude steel output reached 1.915 million t in late May

According to the data released by CISA on June 8, China's registered steelmakers produced 17.644 million t of the crude steel in late May and China's overall crude steel output may hit 21.066 million t in the given period. Meanwhile, China's registered steelmakers also contributed an average daily crude steel output of 1.604 million t in late May, down by 3.48% compared to middle May. And China's domestic daily average crude steel output totaled 1.915 million t in late May, declining by 3.47% vs middle May. On the other hand, looking at the production on a month basis, China's daily crude steel production averaged 1.95 million t in May, increasing by 1% from 1.931 million t in April.
